About Me...

I started singing when I was a little girl, and can vividly recall singing 'The Tide Is High' in my Grandma Sykes' living room on my Mum's now ancient phone. My Grandad has been the main source of my singing journey, giving me CDs or 'records' as he calls them, to listen to and paying for my singing lessons thoughout my education.

My singing teacher, Mr Waugh, taught me everything I know! I even pulled him out of retirement just so I could finish my education with him as my singing teacher (from Year 1 all the way through to Year 13). With Mr Waugh I completed my Grade 8 Popular Vocals, Musical Theatre and Grade 5 Classical. I also joined the county choir with him and sang requiems in Latin, French and Italian.

Musical Theatre has had a huge influence on my life and I was fortunate to be selected for the British Youth Music Theatre's pilot productions in 2017 and again in 2019. There I performed on large regional stages in Plymouth and Peckham.

Up until 2024 I starred in a local Pantomime in Skipton. The unconventional theatre, a working auction mart, had been my home for many Christmasses. There I performed, directed, choreographed and musical directed shows for a loyal audience who came back year after year.

Aside from singing, I now work as a theatre director and facilitator across the North West, working with professional actors, charities, dementia groups and SEND day centres.

I thoroughly enjoy creating and using my skills to make people have brighter days. Music is such a powerful tool and can elevate any occassion and I am so proud I can say that this is my job.
